The hotel
What is Hotel VISAD?
A small hotel on the Sarandë–Butrint road, in one white building with our own beach in front of it. We run it ourselves, as a family.
Is there a lift?
No. The upper floors are reached by stairs. If that matters to you, tell us when you book.
What languages do you speak?
Albanian, Greek, English, Italian and French.
Is there a pool?
No. There is the sea, in front of the hotel, and a wooden deck at the edge of it with an evil eye painted on the boards.
The beach
Where is the beach?
In front of the hotel. You do not need a car or a bus to reach it. It is our beach, for the people staying here.
Do I pay for the sun loungers and the umbrellas?
No. They are free.
What is the beach like?
White pebbles, clear water, and thatched umbrellas.
The rooms
What rooms do you have?
- Double Room with Balcony and Sea View — 28 m², one large double bed, for two people
- Triple Room with Balcony and Sea View — 30 m², one large double bed and one single, for three people
- Family Room with Garden View — one large double bed and two singles, for four people
What is in the rooms?
Air conditioning, satellite TV, a small fridge and a private bathroom. The sea-view rooms have their own balcony.
Are there cots or extra beds?
No. We have neither.
Breakfast
Is breakfast included?
Yes, with every room. It is a continental buffet.
Where do you serve it?
On the deck, looking at the sea.
Is the restaurant open at other times?
Our restaurant is called Resorant VISAD and it is open for breakfast. There are restaurants and mini-markets a few minutes away.
Arriving and leaving
What time can I check in?
From 12:00 until 23:00.
What time do I check out?
Between 06:00 and 11:00.
What do I need at check-in?
A photo ID and a credit card.
How do I get here?
We are on the Sarandë–Butrint road, at the 1st km. There is a bus stop at the door, going one way to Sarandë and the other to Ksamil and Butrint. The closest airport is Ioannina, 97 km away.
Paying
How do I pay?
In cash. We ask for a credit card at check-in, but only as a guarantee — cash is what we take.
What is included in the price?

There is no service charge on top.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free of charge until 14 days before you arrive. Inside those 14 days we charge the cost of the first night. If you do not turn up, it is the same.
Children and pets
Are children welcome?
Yes, at any age. Children of 3 and over are charged as adults.
Are pets allowed?
No.
Is there anything for children to do?
There is a table tennis table and a small football pitch, and both are free. And the beach.
